常用用法
- assert的基本意思是“堅(jiān)持”“斷言”,即做主觀的、自信的、有說服力的闡述。這種“主張”或“斷言”盡管有時(shí)并無(wú)憑據(jù),但是要讓別人相信自己的話是有依據(jù)的,或要?jiǎng)e人對(duì)憑據(jù)感興趣。
- assert是及物動(dòng)詞,接名詞或名詞性從句作賓語(yǔ),也可以接“to be+ n./adj. ”作補(bǔ)足語(yǔ)的復(fù)合賓語(yǔ)。
- 注意區(qū)分assert和declare：He asserted that he was innocent. 他申明他是無(wú)辜的.He asserted that his sister was innocent. 以上表達(dá)方式是正確的。He asserted himself to be innocent. 該表達(dá)方式是錯(cuò)誤，應(yīng)改為He declared himself (to be) innocent。 返回 assert
