v. (動詞)

• mention的基本意思是“提到”“說起”,如口頭或書面提及某人的名字,提及或簡述某事物等,以引起注意。
• mention是及物動詞,可接名詞、代詞或動名詞作賓語,還可接以that或疑問詞引導(dǎo)的從句作賓語?？捎糜诒粍咏Y(jié)構(gòu)。
• mention偶爾也可接以as短語充當(dāng)補(bǔ)足語的復(fù)合賓語。
• mention不可用于mention sb sth 結(jié)構(gòu),“對…提起…”可以說mention sb/sth to sb 或mention to sb that/wh-clause結(jié)構(gòu)。
• not to mention可用如連詞,其后只接名詞短語。

n. (名詞)

• mention作名詞與動詞的意思基本一致,指人們口頭或書面對某人或某事物進(jìn)行簡短陳述,是單數(shù)名詞,可與不定冠詞連用。
• mention常與介詞of連用。
• mention只有及物動詞的用法，后面不可以接介詞；
