- reduce的基本意思是“減少”,指重量、程度、數(shù)目、范圍、速度等減少或降低,不僅可以指量的變化,還可以指質(zhì)的轉(zhuǎn)變。引申可作“降職”“使…陷入某種狀態(tài)或狀況中”“將…概括或簡(jiǎn)化”“將…還原”“征服”“攻陷”等解。
- reduce可用作及物動(dòng)詞,也可用作不及物動(dòng)詞。用作及物動(dòng)詞時(shí)接名詞或代詞作賓語(yǔ)。可用于被動(dòng)結(jié)構(gòu)。
- reduce偶爾也可接動(dòng)詞不定式作賓語(yǔ)補(bǔ)足語(yǔ),意思是“使…不得不…”。
