副詞用作介詞賓語和後置定語的用法

一、某些副詞用作介詞賓語

副詞在句子中主要用作狀語，但是英語中某些表示時(shí)間或地點(diǎn)的副詞以及某些與介詞同形的副詞，有時(shí)也可用作某些介詞的賓語。如：

Do you mind my opening the window? It's a bit hot in here. 你介意我打開窗戶嗎？這裡有點(diǎn)熱。

Take your time—it's just a short distance from here to the restaurant. 別急，從這兒到那家餐館衹是很短的距離。

二、某些副詞用作後置定語

副詞雖然不用於名詞前作定語，但某些表示時(shí)間或地點(diǎn)的副詞可用於名詞後作定語。如：

The lady downstairs has asked lira to be quiet after nine o'clock. 樓下那位女士要求我們9點(diǎn)以後保持安靜。（downstairs脩飾the lady）

He wanted the best for his children—good schools, a nice house and trips abroad. 他想讓自己的孩子享受到最好的一切——上好學(xué)校，住漂亮房子，還去國外旅行。（abroad脩飾trips）
