在常用的translate,relate,superlative和legislate中，詞根lat 來(lái)自拉丁動(dòng)名詞latum 意爲(wèi)to carry ,to bear,與
生能力，所以詞根lat是比較常用的。同義詞根有來(lái)自拉丁語(yǔ)的ger/gest,port,veh/vect 和來(lái)自希臘語(yǔ)的phor/pher。
