常用用法

data用作單數(shù)或複數(shù)。
在正式文躰或科技文章中，data是單數(shù)名詞datum的複數(shù)形式，意思是“資料，數(shù)據(jù)”。儅其作主語時(shí)謂語動(dòng)詞要用複數(shù)形式。
data作“(儲(chǔ)存在計(jì)算機(jī)中的)數(shù)據(jù)資料”解時(shí)是不可數(shù)名詞。
在現(xiàn)代英語中，尤其是在美式英語中，往往用one of the data代替datum。data在美式英語中，有時(shí)轉(zhuǎn)義爲(wèi)“事實(shí),報(bào)道”。
