1. ADJ If you describe something as untidy, you mean that it is not neat or well arranged. (某処)不乾淨(jìng)的; 不整齊的; 這個地方很快變得不整潔了。; ...一個瘦瘦的頭發(fā)淩亂的男人。
The place quickly became untidy.
2. ADJ If you describe a person asuntidy,you mean that they do not care about whether things are neat and well arranged, for example in their house. (某人)邋遢的; 我特別邋遢。
I'm untidy in most ways.

Your handwriting is so untidy I can't read it.
I can put up with the house being untidy, but I hate it if it's not clean .
Her desk was so untidy that she spent the whole day trying to establish some sort of order .
