The vertical velocity of water surface is estimated by wave celerity.
水表麪的垂直速度則可以由其與波速之間的關(guān)系得到。
It is shown that the celerity of the kinematic wave represents the propagation speed at flood peak and the celerity of inertia wave represents the propagation speed at the wave front.
結(jié)果表明：運(yùn)動(dòng)波波速代表洪峰処的傳播速度，而慣性波波速則代表波鋒処的傳播速度；
For breaking wave the horizontal particle velocity can be taken as the wave celerity, since the wave is breaking when horizontal particle velocity is equal to or larger than the wave celerity.
而對(duì)於破波，質(zhì)點(diǎn)的水平速度應(yīng)該等與波速，由於破波産生的極限就是質(zhì)點(diǎn)的水平速度等於或大於波速。
