前綴ante- = before,in front of

漢：來(lái)源于拉丁語(yǔ)，意“before",在元音字母和輔音字母h前，字母E脫落，變?yōu)閍nt,ante-的變化型有：ant-,anti- ,anci-,an-；與post-相反。ante-本是原生前綴，只與拉丁詞根結(jié)合。但16世紀(jì)以后，它又在英語(yǔ)中復(fù)活，成了派生詞綴。它能與名詞結(jié)合，起修辭作用，并能生成名詞派生詞。
